PROGRAM DETAILS
PLOT: After a mix up at the travel agency, a young girl and her friend cruising from Chile to Rio de Janeiro mistakenly wind up on a ship to Antarctica! The unexpected adventure leads the pair to discovering a gamut of NSF scientific research, a cast of unique researchers, environmental hazards, and some of the most incredible wildlife on the planet. Children follow the characters as they learn about the ocean, atmosphere, glaciers, ecosystems and much more. When the friends realize there is far more to science, Antarctica and the planet than ever expected, they find themselves reconsidering their study and career choices for the future…
